In 2007, NABA launched the CPA Bound program to address barriers Black professionals and students face in obtaining their Certified Public Accountants (CPA) license. Phase two of the program launched in 2020, with the goal of creating and equipping a community of CPA candidates with the tools and resources needed for licensure achievement.
As a community, NABA’s intent is to support in relieving some of the stresses NABA members experience in their journey toward CPA attainment. NABA strives to promote unity through an encouraging environment and uplifting engagement that breaks through the barriers of isolation, during and after the CPA achievement process, thereby, “lifting as we climb.”
