Each year, NABA recognizes those stellar achievers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to reach heights of unique success in their careers, within NABA, the Profession, and/or within their community. It is with great pleasure that we announce the 2022 class of NABA Award winners! NABA honors their achievements, excellence and leadership. Traditionally, The Awards Experience at the NABA National Convention is the culmination of a week of learning, networking, and inspiration. This event is the exclamation point at the end of a meaningful series of workshops, CPE sessions, and engagement between thought-leaders, field experts, corporate recruiters, and NABA members. This year’s award ceremony is just as unique as the year we are living in. The 2022 Virtual Awards Celebration titled “Defining Moments of Black Joy: A Celebration” celebrates our winners and their incredible achievements that they’ve reached through hard work, persistence, dedication and their connections made right here at NABA! You have reached a major milestone in your career. Though you may think you have reached the pinnacle of the journey, today just might mark the beginning of the next phase of your careers. We want you to look at this remarkable achievement as a celebration of your success. There is more ahead of you, and I fully expect you to continue to invest in yourself and grow in every dimension of your lives as lifelong learners.
Celebration of Scholars
The Celebration of Scholars, very aptly titled, is an annual future-focused event where students are acknowledged, inspired to excel, and presented with scholarships from NABA, Corporate Partners and other generous donors. This celebration demonstrates the impact both NABA and Corporate Partners have on individual students, higher education, and the accounting and finance fields in general; each, serving as catalysts to further the education and training of these future young leaders.
